Together in Prayer?

The Congregational Prayer Partners for Youth Ministry urges each adult to pray daily for one of the 15 un-partnered youth on our roll.*  We ask you to use Sign-up central and say, “Here I am!”  You will receive additional written information for your prayerful consideration.

We do not ask you to attend meetings or make phone calls; we do ask you to speak this intercessory prayer in your home, your workplace, your car, or outside, wherever it is that you pray at that given daily moment.

We do not ask you to stand at Grace in recognition of this praying action; we do ask that you seek to overflow with happy words telling of God’s goodness!

We do not ask you to lead prayer aloud before others at church; we do ask that your thoughts give praise and thanksgiving to God.

We do not ask you to recite the “PRAY” bookmark you are encouraged to memorize; we do ask that you turn toward being unendingly filled with silent prayer.

Youth Prayer:

Heavenly Father, It is a comfort to know someone at Grace church is thinking and speaking my name in prayer.  I ask that you encourage my partner so they will know how much I appreciate their return to You and bless this one adult who attempts to pray much for me each day.  I’m sure some days it requires all they have to give and then some more.  Help us to not feel alone at school and work.  Draw us close to you and give us Your strength this given day.  In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Nineteenth century author, Edward Bounds, reminds all of us, “Satan trembles when he sees the weakest saint upon his knees.”  Every little remembrance of God is acceptable.

We do not ask you to take our word for it; we do ask you to take God at His word which is at work in you who believe!  We ask to meet you and share a letter describing this Grace prayer ministry.
