Children's Ministries
Children’s Sunday School
Grace offers Sunday School for children. Preschoolers through fourth graders meet every Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Christian Education wing. Sunday School classes include age appropriate Bible stories and activities.
Summer Sunday School: "Taking Root"
Children joined their families in June and July to learn more about fighting hunger, locally and worldwide, through the summer Sunday School class, "Taking Root: Growing in Faith, Feeding Our Neighbors." This class increased children's knowledge about world hunger and taught them how they can show God's love to those who suffer from hunger.
Vacation Bible School
Four year olds through 4th grade graduates attended Grace's Vacation Bible School, June 28-July 2, 2010. At High Seas Expedition, children explored the mighty love of God! They sang songs, played games, ate snacks, made crafts, and listened to Bible stories while they learned that God's word is true, God's word is comforting, God's word is surprising, God's word is life-changing, and God's word is for everyone.
Faith Journey
At Grace, we believe that faith in Jesus Christ is a gift from God — given freely, neither earned nor deserved. For some individuals, faith is first realized in baptism. Others realize it first in a conscious process of conversion.
Whenever faith begins, its development continues for a lifetime. Taking the Faith Journey means living out a commitment to make Jesus Christ the Lord of Life.
Social and Service Activities
Three year olds through 4th graders are encouraged to participate in social and service activities by being part of one of our children's groups.
